apocalypsos1.) What year was it?
1994-1995
2.) What were your three favourite bands?
Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and the Violent Femmes.
3.) What was your favorite outfit?
Basically flannel and jeans. We were still riding the tail end of the grunge thing.
4.) Who were your best friends?
Jen, Kellie, Debbie, Nick, Dale, Joe, and Tommy.
5.) What did you do after school?
Either work, homework, or three-hour-long phone calls with Tommy.
6.) Did you take the bus?
Nope, I had a car. (It was a POS Pontiac Sunbird, but it was still a car.) Not that I would have taken a bus if it hadn't, since I only lived about four blocks away from school.
7.) Who did you have a crush on?
The question is who didn't I have a crush on. Every single one of my male best friends at one time or another, every cute guy in my class (we had lots of them, so I got lucky) ... pretty much, if you were cute, funny, smart, or nice to me, I probably had a crush on you. (Obviously, I didn't get a chance to act any of those crushes out. *shrugs*)
8.) Did you fight with your parent(s)?
All the bloody time. And I was a good kid, too. I didn't drink, I didn't smoke, I didn't do drugs, I didn't sleep around ... I was mostly just an overemotional fuckwit.
9.) Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?
Jesus, who did I have a celebrity crush on? *tries to remember* Sadly, I'm betting Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Cruise.
10.) Did you smoke cigarettes?
God, no. Ick.
11.) Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack all day because you were too nervous to find your locker?
In our school? Bwahahaha. Yeah, that'd be a no.
12.) Did you have a 'clique'?
I guess you could call it a clique. Then again, in retrospect, there were only sixty of us in the class and we'd all grown up together and these days, when I run into people I went to high school with, we hug regardless of whether or not we hung out together in high school, so ... yeah, still a clique, I guess.
13.) Did you have "The Max" like Zach, Kelly and Slater?
Well, not really. I mean, there was an Italian place a few blocks away from school where a lot of people hung out, but we didn't go there much, so it was more of a town Max than a clique Max.
14.) Admit it, were you popular?
I don't think so. I mean, I don't think our unpopular kids were all that unpopular, and our popular kids don't seem all that popular in retrospect, but still. I always wore bad clothes and had stupid hair and stuck my foot in my mouth like I always do, so I'd say unpopular.
15.) Who did you want to be just like?
Anybody but me.
16.) What did you want to be when you grew up?
A writer. (I still do. ;))
17.) Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?
Oh, God, I though I'd already be published by now. Then again, I also thought I'd already be married with kids right now, so that goes to show how psychic I am. *eye roll*

Oh! I had this Gunne Sax dress with a big full twirly skirt that looked like a million bucks on me.

Theater stuff at school, or reading at home.

Mom usually dropped me off, though occasionally I rode the bus. I didn't like to, though, because I lived way out in the boonies, and there was a big chance that the driver would be playing Lynard Skynard on his 8-track. At 6:30 AM.
