Me: Mom, just for the record, if I ever end up in a vegetative state --
Mom: Oh, don't worry. We'll unplug your ass in a heartbeat.

Aw. Isn't my mommy sweet? :)

Maybe you should point out to your mom that it's not your *ass* that you'll want unplugged.

Ah. But would she want it plugged in the first place?

I think you may be the most metaquoted person ever.

I think that [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge is still in the running for "Most Quoted Individual" and of course [livejournal.com profile] customers_suck and [livejournal.com profile] mock_the_stupid are the front runners for "Most Quoted Community".

And of course, since metametas are considered completely separately, we (thankfully) don't have to contend with those right now.

My husband has basically told me the same thing, and I love him for it!

my mom and i are of the same opinion, mainly because we work with people who ARE in vegetative states. they're alive, yes, but not in a way that we would actually consider living. so we'd both want the plug pulled.

my dad on the other hand, wants to be kept alive no matter what, if possible. silly man.

I hear you, I'd want to be gone too, especially if I was having no quality of life and yet costing a fortune in medical bills, I'd rather my family spent the money on themselves while I fast tracked to see who/what I'd be reincarnated into.

I have no doubts that if you ever ended up in a vegative state there would be a few hundred people calling, emailing, etc saying:

Unplug her ass!
