1. What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done?
Hmmm...as one who's life seems to be one embarrassing thing after another, it's hard to even pinpoint the pinnacle of this one. I guess one that would be up there would be getting caught speeding on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (bladder decided I had to really, really, REALLY, er, *go* about one mile after I started across the 17-mile-long span) at 3 a.m. and having to explain to the officer AND THE CAMERAMAN WHO WAS FILMING FOR "COPS" OR SOME OTHER STUPID SHOW that I needed to pee.
2. The scariest?
Rolling my car - a full 720 degree flip, at that.
3. The weirdest thing?
Waking up after a night of "Everclear quarters" with traffic cones in my apartment - and no, I didn't have a car at the time. Still have no idea where the things came from....
4. Who is the most famous person you've ever met?
In just a casual, passing-on-the-street encounter, Bill Murray. In a not-quite-as-casual (and longer) encounter, Echo & the Bunnymen - in my car after a concert. They wanted to find the bar to hang out at after hours in Durham, NC (home of Duke University), and my station wagon fit everyone fine.
5. If the world were going to end at midnight tonight, what would you spend the rest of the day doing?
Snuggling with my partner, Ron; and calling as many friends and relatives as possible and telling them how much I love them.
6. What's the most gruesome and/or disgusting thing you've ever seen in real life?
The aftermath of a car wreck in Arizona - 2 Accords that collided at 70-plus mph, and no authorities had arrived yet....
7. If you were signing up for "The Amazing Race", who would you want to be the other person in your team, where would you hope that you could go in the world, and what do you think your team would be known as ("The Engaged Couple", "The Virgins", "The Gay Marrieds", etc.)?
Again, going to have to go with my partner, Ron, just to prove that Reichen & Chip's win was no mere coincidence! Name? "The Gay Geeks" *g*
8. Who do you know who you'd sign up for "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy", and why?
Probably the guy on my project with the constant itch. As in, just scratch anywhere, at any time, with anyone present....
9. If you could be any character in any book, movie, TV show, etc., who would you be and why?
Lessee, probably someone like Henry Hart in "Big Eden" - I love a movie with a happy ending where the guy gets the guy in the end (and I don't mean "...with a gun", either)!
10. Which song would you consider your theme song, and why?
"Forever Young" by Alphaville. Never, never, never, ever want to be old, at least not in the "stodgy old fart" sense....
