Apr. 12th, 2005 03:40 pmIndonesia volcano spews ash. ... the hell? What is up with poor Indonesia this year? Earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes ... damn.
In other news, I just heard a radio promo that hinted that Lynn and Alex get involved in a riot. Granted, it probably won't happen, but with their behavior sometimes, it's okay if I think they deserve a little trouble, right? (Not a lot, obviously -- it's not like I want anybody to get hurt -- but still.)

Date: 2005-04-13 01:00 am (UTC)Considering how every time they start to rebuild something else goes wrong it's not safe to rule anything out; nature is one scary bitch. But considering the world is mostly magma and only a little crust at the surface it's been largely kind to us in that respect. Huge scale disasters aren't a frequent thing, which is why it's all the more shocking when something big goes boom. The amount of support and aid many countries rush to offer is a wonderful thing, really gives you an idea that not all people suck.
The people who call it an "Act of God" and give the impression the people who suffer these events somehow deserve it will always get on my nerves, though, I must say. They suck a lot.
