[livejournal.com profile] voodoo_in_tx posted the promo pics for "No Greater Good".

Ahem.

CHARLIE IS HOLDING THE BABY. I REPEAT, CHARLIE IS HOLDING THE BABY. AND IT'S SO FUCKING ADORABLE.

I'm sorry, but there is no way Uncle Charlie and Uncle Hurley and Teeny Tiny Baby are not some of the coolest Lost promo pics EVER.

*flails*

And ... well, really.

I'll probably remake it tomorrow on the computer at work, but still. Hee. :)

Actually, what takes forever to explain is the fact that I'm not totally unschooled, as I have to get credits to graduate with a real diploma and blah-di-blah, but I don't have any sort of set curriculum and I teach myself a lot of the stuff.

I didn't know homeschoolers could get high school diplomas. I thought the GED was the only option.

I've been in Clonlara ever since my mom pulled me out of school toward the end of first grade.

That's an independent studies program, isn't it? My mom mentioned it as a possibility when my dad went ballistic about school, but I never really heard anything else about it. I guess that would explain the diploma thing. Out of curiosity, how old are you?

I apologise for my ignorance, but I'm not sure what that is, and Google doesn't seem to be much help.

Associate in Arts. It's the lowest college degree you can earn. Technically, as the degree takes two years to earn, I should have finished it last summer, but this is the first semester I've taken more than two courses at once.

Hee. I'm looking to try some vegan recipes this year, from our garden (I've been vegetarian off and on, but most of the time it's been just from a sheer lack of desire to eat meat).

I've been vegetarian since I saw four baby chicks grow from wet puffballs to actual birds, over the course of a week, when I was four. I promptly decided that I would not eat meat ever again, and (aside from the half-a-shrimp I accidentally ate once because I was misinformed about the contents of an eggroll) I haven't. I'm only vegan for health, though, and I'm not nearly as strict about it as I am about meat.

And, duh, it just occurred to me that my favourite dish I make is vegan. And mostly organic.

Oh? What is it?

I could easily say the same about you and Harry Potter. *g*

Awww, you don't like HP? I agree that the movies are terrible and should be blasted to smithereens and shot into space for some other unlucky species to discover, but the books aren't half bad. J.K. Rowling is honestly not that good a writer, but the world and characters she's created are, IMHO, marvelous.

Though, given enough incentive I can be a fan of anything. I hate Lost and I'm still a fan because the fandom is fun.

I really don't like the show all that much either. I think I only still follow it in the hopes of another Sawyer/Sayid torture scene. And too much free time, but hey, it's my free time.
