Okay, so that icon pairings meme is going around, and more than a few people have commented that it's like a home game of ithurtsmybrain, and threegoldfish's list has a pairing in Jayne Cobb/John Creighton that I have to see as fic yesterday, here's what I was thinking.

From the list you get when you do the meme for your icons, which pairings simply have to be written? Even if you're not about to write them, which ones would you be willing for other people to write?

Because honestly, I've seen at least one pairing in every list that somebody really has to write due to moral imperative. :)

As for the ones from my list, I'd love to see someone write:

Charlie (Lost)/Chris Halliwell (Charmed)
Claire (Lost)/Colossus (X-Men)
The Doctor (Doctor Who)/Elastigirl (The Incredibles) -- (Actually, I'm horribly tempted to do this one myself.)
Maia (The 4400)/Peter Parker (Spider-Man 2)
Rogue (XMM)/Sawyer (Lost)
Shannon (Lost)/Shaun (Shaun of the Dead)

And hell, if someone wrote Maia (The 4400)/Walt (Lost), I sure as hell wouldn't be against it. ;)

EDIT: You know how I can tell the sex education in this country sucks? Because I just heard a couple on a paternity test episode of Maury say in all seriousness about a girl accusing a guy in the couple of fathering her child that "you can't make a baby in ten minutes" and "she was sleeping with three other guys so I know he's not my kid." Then again, they could just simply be morons, couldn't they? *headdesk*

There is actually tons of crossover from what I've seen by way of writers liking both shows (at least on my F'List), but not in the way of slash as of yet from what I've seen... I've seen a bit of crossover here and there in fics though, and I know I am writing one as well, but more general stuff.

House is fairly new in Europe and Australia, and only picked up steam in the US mid-year. I give it until Christmas before there are 20 House/Grissom fics.
