Okay, I love both the TV show and the movie to itty bitty pieces, even though I'm not allowed to see the movie until I get a job and I spoiled myself good and proper already for it. But -- and no offense, because God knows I know where you're all coming from -- if I see the words "Firefly" or "Serenity" anymore for the rest of the weekend, I think my brain will officially melt into a liquid form and start to dribble out of my ears.

I think I'm going to go do stomach crunches and watch a Stargate Atlantis rerun.

you know how canonically Ryland synthesized a weapon against the 4400?

I was thinking one might step through the multiverse and find the multiversal version of Indigo [who is ICly engaged to marry Ray Stantz] a handy thing to synthesize his own set of powers with which to control the 4400. Starting with just her blood, then graduating up to X-Men 2 type stuff.

And I was thinking you'd play a marvellous Ryland, convinced he's doing the right thing to protect everyone.

Well, it's less a problem of money and more a problem of transportation, since we probably won't get my car registered until tomorrow, my parents are only letting me borrow the Jeep to go look for work, and my brother's already been told he can't take me to the movies until I get a job. *sigh*

Oh, I understand the squeeing. Trust me, I'd be doing it, too, if I'd gotten the movie. But you've got to admit, it's the only thing anybody seems to be talking about this weekend. *G*
