Nov. 27th, 2005 07:39 pm*dies laughing* It amuses the hell out of me that I brought up my friends list and the top two icons were both Rodney McKay holding a gun in pretty much the exact same position in both pictures.
In any event, I really wish I'd started watching Supernatural sooner, if only because it gives me ideas and inspiration for the Books of Boggs that I could have used, you know, at the beginning of NaNo rather than at the end, when it's obvious I won't have the time to hit 50k. (Granted, a lot of the reason I won't be able to finish is because of the stupid job, but still.)
The big thing is, Dean reminds me a LOT of Sean. They're on different sides, of course -- Dean is fighting the supernatural and Sean IS supernatural -- but the two of them have more in common the more I watch. They're both snarky, they both feel more comfortable with a weapon in their hand, they're both big on shouldering a lot if not all of the responsibility and can get really overprotective. And they both have some major, MAJOR issues. Of course, that train of thought leads to Sam being the Naomi, and ... *snerk* Sam's just not that perky. :)

Date: 2005-11-28 03:22 am (UTC)Heh. It's only been a week and a half and I'm so totally down on all their little quirks. *giggles*
And you know, I keep thinking that if there were a college degree in "professional ghostbusting warrior," Dean would have a higher grade point average than Sam, if that's even possible. ;)

Date: 2005-11-28 05:18 pm (UTC)I spent my whole vacation in Egypt this past week thinking 'I'm missing SN and Dean might be shirtless this week'. That and how I was going to miss advancing plots and such because I DO care about that stuff too.
Ah! Although I'm a terrible, horrible pimp, I pimp very nice things :P

Date: 2005-11-28 05:43 pm (UTC)And I know exactly how you feel. I really do give a damn what's going to happen and what's up with everybody's dark secrets and everything, but BOYS PRETTY, which is a perfectly acceptable thing to fixate on. *nods solemnly*
