-- Niki is dead (probably), and the most I can summon is pity for poor Micah. First of all, they could have done so much more with her plotline, and instead it was the same recycled bullshit in two different seasons. And secondly, if she still had the virus, then how the hell was she managing to use her strength? You know what? Don't know, don't care, want to snuggle Micah.
-- Nathan's probably dead, although let's face it -- Heroes works like soaps. Unless you see a body, they're not dead, and even THEN. I'm sure Peter will remember, uh, DUH, I absorbed Claire's power, I can save Nathan, too. And I'm sure of it mostly because I'm figuring that the fan reaction to even the slightest hint of Nathan's death will not be pretty at all.
Noah was totally the one who shot him, though. Heh. More badass Noah, yes?
-- Oh, man, how much smarter does Mohinder look when Maya is in the same room? Then again, I think everybody's IQ skyrockets when she's around to compensate, like she's shooting spare brain cells out of her ears and people kind of have to pick them up like lint on a black coat.
Having said that, aw, man. Couldn't that shooting have stuck? Shove the bullet back in, Mohinder! We'll pretend we didn't notice the whole saving-her bit! Oh, well, you asked for it. Now you get to be the big strong man she makes doe-eyes at in an attempt to get someone with a dick to take care of her. (Um, I may be a little bitter. "Alejandro will take care of me! No, Gabriel will take care of me! Oh, Mohinder, you saved my life! *swoons*" Jesus, woman, what the hell?)
-- Dude. DUDE. Hiro's cold. I mean, Adam had some sort of revenge coming, but damn. That's hardcore.
-- Dear show, please don't get rid of West now that you've stopped writing him like a gravity-defying major in professional stalking.
-- You know, part of me thinks that the "Nathan announces his plan in Primatech" thing wasn't Nathan being an idiot (I mean, it's a vault full of sensitive materials and they wouldn't have a camera? COME ON) but the three of them setting up the press conference as a fakeout. I'm not the only one who saw Matt pause and make his "I'm listening to someone thinking at me" frowny face when Nathan asked him to help, am I?
-- Oh, thank God, Monica isn't dead. WOOHOO.

Date: 2007-12-04 11:43 am (UTC)-- Nathan could end up not being dead. Either because Peter would have absorbed both Claire & Adam's powers and his blood healed him or because of his previous infusion of Adam's blood or because the three set up the press conference and Nathan was wearing a vest. However? I have a feeling that he really is dead.
-- The 'Maya is dead, no she's not' fakeout was actually pretty good. It would have been even better if it was a character we liked though. But, oh, Mohinder. For a smart guy, you have zero common sense.
-- Hints of badass Five Years Gone Hiro? I kind of dig it.
-- I liked West standing up to Claire. Of course, when Nathan decided to go public, I turned to my roommate and said "Wow, Claire really is her father's daughter -- both of them wanting to tell the world what they can do."
-- You know, the fact that Angela is the only one we saw after the shooting does lend some credence to this theory.
-- Amen!! I'm also happy that Elle survived and got a chance to be a good guy.
