I know I've been writing too much fanfiction because I spent a good chunk of yesterday at work wondering what would happen if Ash from Dead Men in Dark Suits and Sean from Monsters of Moosic ran into each other and hung out. Damn it, no more crossovers, brain. I'm already sort-of crossing over Moonlight Hall and Monsters. Get bent. *pokes brain with sharp stick*

Also, I really have to stop going onto Amazon.com and playing with my wishlist in the Home and Garden section. Especially with the movie posters. My apartment wishlist is six pages long and about two and a half pages are movie posters. But ... but they're pretty. (I honestly don't know why I don't just add everything in the Home and Garden section to my wishlist and get it over with, because half of the time I wander around going, "Oh, look, that's so new and PRETTY." And then there's nuzzling and petting.)

So the TWoP 2004-2005 Tubey Awards are going up, and Veronica Mars, Lost, and Arrested Development are kicking ass, thank God. (In fact, I think the only ways VM and Lost have gotten knocked so far is VM for having Paris Hilton on and Lost for ... well, just for Kate.) And they were the top three for Best Cast, so woohoo! And Franklin got two awards. Go, Franklin! *giggles*

I'm a little torn about all of the Desperate Housewives bashing that's going on. Because I am completely and totally hooked on the show and a little defensive, but at the same time, I know damn well where all of the faults are and if I never see the cast on another magazine cover (with the exception of Marcia Cross), it will be too soon.

Also, yay for The 4400 for beating Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars (which I still have yet to see ... *sigh*) for best miniseries! We're a small, desperate fandom, damn it, and we'll take what we can get. ;)

... and it appears I'm experiencing award show withdrawal and have simply latched onto the closest similar thing with both spastic, fannish hands. Hmm.

EDIT: This is where my Red Sox-loving brother and grandfather would make snarky comments about stupid Yankees fans.

In the vein of [livejournal.com profile] cousinjean's request for people to give her money so she can stay home full time and write fanfiction, I would like to make a request. Or, I suppose, a demand.

I'm not writing any more fanfiction until somebody gives me a pony, damn it.

A white one.

With pink ribbons in its mane.

And purple ones in its tail.

BITCHES, A PONY. NOW. MY DEMANDS ARE FEW YET ADORABLE.
