apocalypsos: (headdesk)
Dear parental units,

I don't know what's brought on the sudden influx of short jokes at my expense, but you'd think I suddenly decided to stop at five feet, two inches just for the hell of it. After all, it's not like I'm off siphoning the contents out of somebody else's gene pool, okay? *grumbles*

Sincerely,

Me

My favorite thing about the new account of the Cassie Claire debacle is that her new book features a teenage vampire slayer named Fray and "Darkhunters".

I just ... I can't even. *dies giggling*

I have a feeling that if there is an original idea there, it is lonely and in desperate need of friends.

I just got five sweaters and five pairs of flared jeans -- all barely worn at all, if that -- for twenty-six bucks.

And that is why I won't be knocking the Salvation Army anytime soon.

Wheee, it's finally downloading!

Except please don't drop a helicopter on any of these people more than once.

So, yeah, I just finished watching the first part of the Heroes pilot. (I've got a bigger copy of the file downloading now -- I assume the second half is in there, too.)

I want more of this show, damn it.

In which I flail at length, and yes, I will be getting very spoilery and revealing BIG plot twists and the like, so if you want to go into the pilot pure, or even just unsurprised, DON'T CLICK! )

Final judgment? MORE. What do you say? Sorry. MORE NOW.

I want to write fic already. *sigh* There's a twelve-step program for this, right?

In other news, go watch Starcrossed. It won best short film at the PlanetOut Awards. Let's put it this way -- if you're a hardcore Sam/Dean shipper, you have GOT to watch this. And bring tissues!
