Of concern to McCain's campaign, however, is a remaining and still-undisclosed clip from Palin's interview with Couric last week that has the political world buzzing.

The Palin aide, after first noting how "infuriating" it was for CBS to purportedly leak word about the gaffe, revealed that it came in response to a question about Supreme Court decisions.

After noting Roe vs. Wade, Palin was apparently unable to discuss any major court cases.

There was no verbal fumbling with this particular question as there was with some others, the aide said, but rather silence.

I've got two other books to finish. Why not pile on more?

I'm still trying to decide which story I actually want to work on. I've got a month to decide, I suppose, and I want to use October to make a dent in The Hollow Girl and The Grand Prize Winner. Of course, I've said that before and look how that's turned out so far. *sigh*

On the plus side, I went grocery shopping. I splurged on stuff I normally don't waste money on, like the makings for beef chow mein and lobster bisque, because I had that fifty-dollar gift certificate from my parents and ... well, fuck, it's not like I get to splurge on anything else anymore, right? Can't go to Wincon, can't get a new laptop, might not even be able to get a new tat. But hey, there's always those six free months of Netflix I have absolutely no desire to use.

Yeah, I might not be in the best of moods right now. BLARGH.
