... why am I supposed to be excited about Katie Holmes dancing on SYTYCD again?

I mean, Ellen Degeneres made more sense because I've actually seen her dance. Repeatedly. Definitely more than once. And even if it were just once, it'd still be more times than I've seen Katie Holmes dance. I associate Katie Holmes with dance the same way I associate Barack Obama with juggling flaming chainsaws.

I feel like this is the America's Got Talent portion of the show, where they'll hype the hell out of her being there, and it'll turn out she sucks before she falls on her face, and then the judges will vote her out even though they're only there for window dressing right now and aren't voting for anything short of lunch.

Katie Holmes was decidedly UNimpressive. All she did was walk and pose!

I would have liked more dances from previous years. There were some good ones from season 2 and 3 that I would have loved to see again.

I'm irritated considering the hype they did for her doing this dance. I think it's sweet that she and everyone who worked on the dance donated their fees to the charity but oh man, it was boring.

Singing was decent but it was obvious she wasn't singing live.

I agree completely. She put on a decent enough performance, but her part consisted of little to no actual dancing and the lip-syncing made the whole thing ring false and I would gladly have done without the entire thing if it meant seeing Katee & Joshua do Bollywood or Pasha & Lauren do Shane's Transformers routine or Mark & Courtney do Sonya's first go as a choreographer or LOTS OF THINGS.

Sorry, SYTYCD TPB, I know you were all losing your minds over having an A-List star on your show, but the results didn't move me.
