Dec. 31st, 2004 10:04 pmYou know you've been watching too much Law & Order: Special Victims Unit when Novak goes to the one judge's house at night to get something signed and finds five of the judges playing poker together, and your immediate reaction is, "Ooo, get that judge's signature -- he makes all of the good decisions. Or get that lady judge's signature -- she's really snarky!" Hee. I know it's the L&O Pervert Hour, but it's got all the good cops on it. :)
And you know, just for the record, a real resolution -- to finish The Monsters of Minooka. Yeah, I could go with "get it published," but I'm trying to keep it a little more realistic.
EDIT: I plan to ring in the new year not by getting wasted, not by watching TV, but in the middle of working on fic. You know, get the year off to a good start. :) *goes back to finishing that Hurley fic if it kills me*
ANNOYED VIEWER OF EDIT: You know what bothers me the most about that commercial for Joan and Melissa Rivers doing Globes commentary on the red carpet for the TV Guide Channel? You know, aside from the obvious? It's that they have an "actress" walking down a red carpet with her dress tucked into her underwear in the back. And no, that's not what bothers me, either. It's that the dress is light grey, the underwear is bright red with big dark blue polka dots, and no woman would wear those under a light grey dress because you could see them right through the fabric.
I know it's supposed to be funny, but mostly it just makes me want to hit them both harder with whatever weapon I can get my hands on if I ever come across either one of them in public.
