Somebody on ye olde friends list admitted they'd never read a Harry Potter book, and I was thinking about how that's just one of those things that's not embarrassing at all and yet still manages to get a shocked, "Seriously?! Why not?" reaction out of people.

So today's time-wasting question -- name something you've never done (or more than one, if you want) that the average person has, the kind of thing that would get that kind of shocked reaction. Never had a pet, never held a baby, never traveled out of your home state ... something like that.

I've never used Outlook Express, which never fails to shock computer geeks. And since 98% of the people I know are computer geeks...

Yes, but they don't because they have in the past and now know how bad it is.

Ah. Me and the friends that I'm thinking of haven't used Outlook at all. My boss at work uses it and we all share a computer, but I don't think my opening it once or twice for her should count. My friends started out with Eudora or Pegasus or... well, I can't think of what else we might have used. I started to hate Eudora at version 4.3, but I refused to use Outlook and moved to webmail and testing out other products. I'm happy these days with Thunderbird.
